Custom lists are created to overridde a protect policy. Any domain specified in a custom list will either be allowed or blocked depending on the setup. ie. if the default policy is blocking Social Media, but www.twitter.com needs to be allowed, you can silply add *.twitter.com to a custom allowed list and the domain will be allowed.



CUSTOM LIST CONFIGURATION 



  1. To create a new custom list, go to the tab Custom Lists and click New Domain.



      2. Below are the configuration options you may select when creating your custom list.



Configuration Option
Description
DomainEnter the domain. eg,*.facebook.com
Description (optional)
Give a description of your custom list.
Block / Allow (button)Toggle the domain to be blocked or allowed in your network.
Logging enabled / disabled (button)
Toggle enabled if the domain should be logged. Disabled if not.
