There are two types of reports provided. 


Logging - Which shows all current and past logs for queries from your internet connection. 

Reports - Which shows summarised reports for queries from your internet connection for the previous day or days depending on your selection.


Note: Reports and logs have a maximum retention period of 5 days. Meaning you will only be able to see logs or reports for the past 5 days.


To view your reports or logs follow the steps outlined below:


Reporting


  1. Login to the P8DNS console https://console.p8dns.io/dashboard
  2. Select 'Report' from

    the left menu 

      
  3. Select your report period and click 'apply'


Logging


  1. Login to the P8DNS console https://console.p8dns.io/dashboard
  2. Select 'Logging' from the left menu 

      

  3. Here you will be presented with some filter options.
  • Time. Select the period for the logs you which you wish to view
  • Category. You can search of the category. Enter the first part of the category name to search.
  • Domain. Enter a domain if you looking for logs only for that domain
  • Blocked. Show only the logs for blocked sites
  • Request. Request the logs based on your settings above
  • Reset. Reset your log search settings
  • Export CSV. Export the logs based on your search to a local csv file.
  • Click on 'request' to view the logs based on your search settings.
