This article applies to the adjusting the number of times the proxy will attempt a connection to a website before timing out.
Access to some websites such as outlook.office365.com results in multiple redirects.
The current version of the P8 Web Filter will timeout a connection after 10 connections (redirects) to a website and this then results in the end user not being able to connect to the website.
To resolve:
- Login to the P8
- Select Web Security, Settings from the left menu
- Click on the 'Advanced Settings' Tab
- Type 'forward_max_tries 25' in the Custom Settings section.
- Click Save.
