This article outlines the required steps to setup your Microsoft Mail email client to connect to your P8Mail Hosted Mailbox.

1. Open Microsoft Mail

2. Click on the Menu Icon in the top left of the window

3. Select Options and then Email Accounts

4. Click the Add button to add your P8Mail email account

5. Select Email Account and click Next

6. Configure the below settings and click Next

Note: If you have multiple mailboxes configured you will see the option to set this mailbox as primary. If you would like to make use of your P8Mail Mailbox to send email then select the option "Primary"

• Email Address: Enter the email address provided to you for your P8Mail Mailbox
  
• Password: Enter the password provided to you for your P8Mail Mailbox
  
• Remember Password: (Optional) Select this option so as to avoid being prompted for a password every time you connect.
  
• Display name: Type in a display name. The display name will be shown in Microsoft Mail windows to refer to this mailbox. E.g Your Name
  
• Manually configure server settings: Tick this box
  

7. Configure the below settings and click Next

Incoming server information:

• Server Type: IMAP
  
• Server address: imap.percol8.co.za Port: 993
  
• Requires a secure connection (SSL): Select check box
  
• Logon user name: Enter your P8Mail email address
  

Outgoing server information:

• Server address: relay.percol8.co.za Port: 587
  
• Requires a secure connection (SSL): Select check box
  
• Requires authentication: Select check box
  

8. You should see a prompt as below. Click on Finish
